The Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS) has posted an online questionnaire for patients, their families, and medical providers on the availability of early COVID-19 treatment using hydroxychloroquine (HCQ), zinc, ivermectin and, other medications, and how the intervention provided benefit.
A U.S. Senate hearing on November 19, chaired by Sen. Ron Johnson (R – Wisconsin) November 19 is what prompted AAPS to launch the survey. Physicians and public health experts, Peter McCullough, M.D., Harvey Risch, M.D., and George Fareed, M.D. testified that there is mounting real-world evidence that early at-home intervention with drugs has made a dramatic difference in keeping COVID patients out of the hospital and alive.
The AAPS survey includes five questions and a box to “tell your story.” AAPS has been leading the charge to get the federal health agencies to reverse guidance on COVID-19 suggesting patients wait until serious symptoms develop before seeking medical treatment.
