Are Food Shortages and Famines Coming? (Commentary)

food shortages?

Consumers face food shortages as world leaders consider the prospect of famines and encourage insect consumption.

The World Economic Forum (WEF) met this year in Davos, Switzerland from May 22-26, 2022.

Nearly 2,500 world leaders met to tackle global issues and find solutions to the world’s most urgent challenges including the ongoing global pandemic, the war in Ukraine, geo-economic shocks, and climate change.  It was the first in-person Annual Meeting for more than two years.

‘Massive, Immediate Food Crisis’

In his formal address to the WEF, David Beasley, executive director of the United Nations World Food Program, said the global food situation was already bad before the Ukraine war, but has since escalated to become what he called the worst humanitarian crisis since World War II.

Conservative Playlist reports the Rockefeller Foundation, another globalist club with ties to Bill Gates, Schwab, and the WEF, recently warned a global food crisis of biblical proportions is scheduled to arrive at our doors within five to six months. Rockefeller Foundation President Rajiv Shah described to Bloomberg Television what is soon to unfold as a “massive, immediate food crisis” that will strike the entire world, leaving no country untouched.

Consider these headlines from June 7, 2022:

French and Italian farmers count cost of storms and drought: Hail, strong winds, and torrential rain caused damage in nearly 65 departments of France, affecting wheat as well as fruit crops and vineyards.

Due to shortages, German supermarkets are limiting sales of pasta, flour, and other basic foodstuffs.

Then there was the creepy cover of The Economist magazine, the Rothschild-owned publication catering to the elite globalists. It pictured a field of wheat, with the kernels of wheat represented as skulls, and the title “The Coming Food Catastrophe.”

Burn More Corn

Food shortages in America? Rising gasoline prices and farmers unhappy about rising fertilizer prices and other costs?  The easy solution that also pleases the Greenies on the Left is more ethanol to further destroy our car engines, says The Conservative Treehouse.”The net result of Joe Biden’s EPA raising the mandatory amount of biofuel (ethanol from 10 to 15 percent) that must be present in the U.S. gas supply is this:

“Less food as more corn is needed for ethanol.

“Higher prices for finished and blended gasoline.

“Vehicle engines breaking down at a much higher rate.

“The predictable Biden outcome is the absolute worst scenario for the middle class.”

Corn is also an ingredient in many consumer products. Among the uses for corn: toothpaste, dish detergent, paper, clothing dyes, explosives and soaps; there is a vast list of products that contain corn products.

In fact, it is estimated one-quarter of items found in a grocery store contain corn in some form. You may not always see it on the ingredient list of food products, but if you see such ingredients as xanthan gum, polyols (artificial sweeteners) or fructose, there’s a chance corn is hiding away somewhere in those food items.

And what will be the effect of the massive fires that just keep erupting again and again at critical facilities all over America? Check here to see a list of 16 major fires that have occurred at key food industry facilities in the U.S. since the start of 2022.

Let Them Eat Bugs

As reported by Ethan Huff on June 8, 2022, “You Will Eat Bugs and Be Happy: Wales Now Feeding Schoolchildren Mealworms and Crickets for Lunch as Part of The Great Reset Rollout”

As promised, the global “elite” are unveiling their new meatless food system for the peons, starting with schoolchildren in the United Kingdom.

“A new pilot program in Wales has replaced all meat on school lunch plates with “plant-based” and insect-based alternatives, including “spaghetti with beetle Bolognese.”

“Crickets and mealworms make up a bulk of the food items now being fed to Wales schoolchildren, who are being treated like animals rather than humans. Instead of getting human food, these children are now consuming food items better fit for chickens and reptiles. The globalists, as reported by the Rair Foundation “intend to motivate students and parents to get away from meat to protect the climate.”

Thomas Lambert confirms UK children are being fed bugs to stop climate change.

In case you think this bug thing is a one-off (don’t worry! Bill Gates, Soros, Schwab, Clintons, etc., certainly won’t be eating them!), consider ArcherDanielsMidland, one of the top agriculture companies in the world, and its bug farm in Decatur, Illinois, which will be the the biggest protein plant in the world.
